Grants

BCVYS administer a grant scheme for Voluntary Organisations for Youth Work.

Organisations eligible are those whose activities are consistent with the values expressed in the Authority's Statement of Policy on work with young people in Bromley.

Equipment

Most Youth Organisations within Bromley either want to have use of equipment and resources they do not own, or they have something they can lend to others.

Listed here are some of the resources available to youth groups. These items are not the responsibility of Bromley CVYS and contact must be made with the owner indicated.

Minibuses

Bromley Youth Trust have minibuses that may be available to youth groups - click here for details.

Uses must comply with relevant Road Traffic Legislation including use of Small Bus Permits (issued to the user of the vehicle, not the owner or the vehicle itself).

Camping and Expedition Equipment

The Duke of Edinburgh Awards Project have equipment for hire which includes

• tents
• stoves
• rucksacks
• sleeping bags
• waterproof jackets
• climbing equipment

Presentation Equipment

BCVYS has a portable PC and projector that can be used by voluntary youth groups. BCVYS also has 3 digital camera's to enable young people to submit articles for the BCVYS newsletter. These items can be borrowed upon completion of a 'hire form' and a suitable deposit. For more information contact Caroline Stone.
